About us
As the state's governing body for Youth and High School Rugby, part of USA Youth Rugby, Minnesota Youth Rugby is at the forefront of growing this exciting sport. Specifically, our goal is to provide fun and safe opportunities to play rugby within reach of every child in the state.
We organize youth rugby leagues for kids ranging in grades from Kindergarten to High School. We have a thriving High School league with both girls and boys teams and we have goals to expand our Middle School league. We want to grow the sport cross all of Minnesota and North Dakota.
As such, we train, we organize, and we support. Help provide training opportunities for all youth athletes. Organize events, matches, etc. within the state and with teams from outside the state of Minnesota. We support our clubs by centralizing referee contracts and fees, medical trainer contracts, etc. We work to make the cost to get involved in rugby as low as possible, including for new teams and clubs.
