What are Select Sides?
Select Sides refers to teams made up of players who are nominated by their team head coach. Athletes who accept this offer will practice together and eventually play teams from other states, thus representing MYR. At these post-playoff games, players will have exposure opportunities to college coaches and other national level select side scouts who have been invited to the events.
Is it expensive to play rugby?
Generally, rugby is less expensive to play than other sports. Team/Club fees can vary. Beyond that, boots/cleats, mouthguard, and shorts/tshirt are the basics needed to play.
What is the governance model for rugby?
World Rugby is the international governance organization. USA Rugby is a World Rugby member. USA Youth Rugby is a member of USA Rugby. MYR is a member of USA Youth Rugby.
